What I’m Doing Now
I can do HTML and CSS with ease, and PHP with effort… to stay current I was going to have to learn JS as well?
Of course all of that would have been possible, but the longer I spend in this game the more quickly things change, and well, if you’re anything like me, keeping up with these young whippersnappers who are chasing us old guard down, can be exhausting.
So… I’ve been slowly adjusting my own sails, and moving to a less hands on approach to WordPress site building into a more management, supportive role for the teams I’ve been involved in.
This started with XWP through 2015 and 2016 and will continue with Human Made from now going forward as I’ve accepted a role as a Senior Project Manager with them. I’m leaving my freelancing behind and stepping into this exciting new phase with a company I’ve admired for years and for whom some of my best friends work.
These are indeed exciting times ahead.
I’ll still be traveling when time/finances/need allows, maybe even more so, and I’ll still be attending WordCamps, meetups and WordPress/Project Management/Internet related events also as time allows. I hope I get to see you there!
What I can do for you
